Hi! How are you, friend?
I am grateful you’re here and look forward to meeting you! I am just a phone call, text or email away! I want to hear your story! I want to get to know you better. I truly care about the people I work with. During our journey together, be it just moments or a whole day during your wedding, I want you to know the experience is of utmost importance to me. I truly believe your photographer should be your friend. I also believe whatever session, wedding, or event we’re photographing should be FUN! My highest priority is to create EXTRAORDINARY images for you & your loved ones! One question I am frequently asked, “Why Spirit Journey Photography?” I AM on a spiritual journey! I AM…. When you say “I AM… that is what you are”. Your words are VERY POWERFUL! Each step with take, each new person or creature we meet… we are all connected on Mother Earth. My other passion in life is to help others spiritually, intuitively, and to ask questions that bring out their answers from within. I help others change their mindset or think BIGGER! I can help, but only when you’re open to the experience. I am continually experiencing or learning ways to help myself become a better person and a better photographer. I have found the world to a more beautiful place to belong. I AM absolutely filled with GRATITUDE for all the WONDERFUL experiences during this life! I also believe in having BIG DREAMS! I can sit at home and experience a “spiritual journey”… there is so much more to this planet I have yet to see and EXPERIENCE! Travel teaches culture, patience, empathy, understanding, how to read a map, relate to others, and most importantly, more about our self. My BIG DREAM…. My heart is in Montana! My first trip to Montana was in July, 1999. I came home and basically realized everything about my job was unethical. I was “dead” inside. I truly cared a great deal for my co-workers, but I could not continue that path. After a nervous breakdown, social anxiety and a relationship ended, I began a different journey with my son at my parents’ home. I eventually left there to be with my ex-husband. Another detour and plenty of life lessons! My ex-husband was verbally abusive and I had my daughter. Bethany may be 14 now, but she’s the best and bossiest life coach I could have ever asked for! My dream since that first trip was to go back to Montana. I HAD TO SEE Glacier National Park. Literally, the mountains were calling & I HAD TO GO! I had to let go of the HOW, and focus on the END RESULT of getting there. August 2016 – I took my spiritual journey back to Montana. My ex-boyfriend, Greg, and I did our trip on less than a shoe string budget. He told me I would have “died” inside if we hadn’t gone. We spent a night on the Blackfoot Indian Reservation in a tipi. We were “gifted” our National Park Pass to get into Glacier by two visiting French men. Greg gave the one young man a Mizzou t-shirt and the other a Lucas Oil dirt racetrack shirt. They have shirts from the middle of Missouri! How many tourists to America can say that! AND one of them knew about the dirt track car racing! Greg said I had the enthusiasm of a small child. I was on a natural high! Fast forward to the summer of 2017, there were over 1 million acres burned in Montana. There were over 55 days without rain and temperatures over 80 degrees. I have wept tears of gratitude every time I think about our trip or look at the photographs. I pray for the people who lost their livelihood, crops, cattle, horses, & lives. Each time I hear of fires, I ask the Great Spirit (or God) to send snow to extinguish the flames! So, ask me what my next adventure will be? December 2020 – 50th birthday on the top of Big Mountain in Whitefish, Montana! Unless of course, I go sooner!!! If your dreams don’t scare you, DREAM BIGGER! It’s my motivator to FOCUS on my goals. How can I help you manifest your dreams? My manta from -The Big Leap- by Gay Hendricks: I expand in abundance, success, and love every day, as I inspire those around me to the same. Namaste'Read More
